National Ambulance is the leading national provider for emergency pre-hospital care in the United Arab Emirates with a vision to extend this to the entire Middle East regions. With the support of His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior) and Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Amiri as Chairman, they are growing quickly.
How did PVL approach the enquiry?
PVL’s design team worked directly with National Ambulance to create the new livery for their fleet of vehicles. Concepts were created and submitted, with Major General Al Raisi (General Director of Central Operations in Abu Dhabi Police) choosing the final design.
What we supplied
We supplied custom –fitted graphics and reflective marking sets in Reflexite VC612 for the sides and rear, printed ContraVision to the windows to continue the look whilst offering privacy and printed decals with Arabic and English translation safety labels.
PVL sent a team of application specialists out to Abu Dhabi to strip the existing fleet and to fit the new livery to a range of existing vehicles including Mercedes Sprinters and an E200, GMC Savanas and a Landcruiser.
What was the outcome?
41 vehicles were completed over a four week period with minimal operational impact. All the graphic materials were fitted to the highest standards ensuring that despite being applied to operational vehicles, brand standards were maintained and the durability of the finished product was maximised.
